I am a wife, a mother to three wonderful children and 5 grandchildren. About 5 years ago I took a class, made my first quilt and immediately fell in love with it. I continued to teach myself how to quilt watching YouTube videos, set up a sewing room in one of our spare bedrooms and proceeded to make quilts. I would often tell my husband that I needed a bigger sewing room...you guessed it I aligned myself with some talented ladies and opened a store.
Teya is my oldest child, mother to 4 of my grandchildren and spends 2 days a week at the shop. She is a brand new quilter. If you happen to come into the shop when she is here her smile will brighten your day.
My name is Jan Lemak. I am married with 3 children, 3 grandchildren and my sweet Molly, a dachshund. I am a retired special education teacher that still enjoys teaching children computer basics. I was blessed with a mom that taught me how to sew, knit and crochet. I have also taught ladies the techniques of Japanese embroidery. I started quilting about 10 years ago and have made both modern and traditional quilts of all sizes. I enjoy making challenging quilts and am working on perfecting machine quilting on my domestic machine

I am Lindas middle child and mother to 1 of her grandchildren. I get to stay behind the scenes. I've always said that the shop was hers and my sisters thing, I love coming in to visit and just hang around the store. Being there makes me so incredibly proud of my mom, but secretely I think I wanted to be involved some how. With my full time work being a nurse, being a part time photographer and being home with my husband and son, I really didnt know how to be part of the shop. When Mom asked me to work on her website I couldnt say yes quick enough, then ideas started flowing. You may not see me in the shop, but you will get to know who I am and what I do as I work behind the scenes taking care of social media and the website for the shop.
